A New army:

Da Orc Wafffaaaa...
Well for band "o" Brothers I was making the Dingo's but they are going to the back burner and getting replaced by my newer/old army getting redone. DA Orc Waffaaa, this whole army Idea came from someone a year and half ago asking the conversion contest question: How would you make a better Def Copta?

My Answer:

*key the flight of the Valkyires music*

More info:

This Conversion comes from my deep hatred for Tau  not the older machure players but for the little kids and complain about not being able to fight a armor heavy guard so I made this army for REVENGE! Yes orc's are going to steal your toy's hahahhahahhaaa

Arhalien - January 14, 2008 05:49 PM (GMT)
Three words: Absolutely. Bloody. Brilliant. :D :D :D

Lt.Gregor - January 14, 2008 06:57 PM (GMT)

I love the jeepee! A very nice conversion. With the spare plasticard, make a mound of dead tau. ;) My only criticism is very minor: perhaps neaten up the GS a tad?

MM :)

Death Korp - January 14, 2008 07:36 PM (GMT)
Good work on here (especially the Bi Plane) :) I'm really going to have to learn how to use Plasti-Card....

Angel Robertson - January 14, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
Love the trukk and the plane is cool to!

What colour are the boyz getting painted in?

AR

Lt.Gregor - January 14, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
 never really thought of what to paint the boys..... Camo... something..... we'll see as soon as I paint some up.

bram kuijpers - January 15, 2008 09:59 AM (GMT)
nice truk looks orky :)

Keravin - January 15, 2008 12:23 PM (GMT)
You do like your aircraft don't you. It's not Valkyries :(, but still pretty funky.

Heheheeheee, well that is true. Those are Def Copta's which in the original rules were good but with the new rules :D they get really fun toys.

But onto other stuff for the army:

What air force of orks would not be without a Fighta?
Very Very early Wip:

This I was working on last night due to weather I could not prime the boyz, they'll be this months work all 24 of them.

hiveminion - January 16, 2008 03:58 PM (GMT)
Fantastic work, I really like the way you turned high-tech vehicles into low-tech ones. It's almost impossible to tell that Kopta is a looted Tau Piranha! Looking forward to seeing that Fighta Bomma all converted up!

Lt.Gregor - January 17, 2008 03:04 PM (GMT)
Once I finish the boys I'll be building/finishing the fighta.

Angel Robertson - January 17, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Great start for the fighta, this is going to be very cool when all finished!

TheGrizz - January 17, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
Awesome work on the Def-Coptas!

As for the 'young' players who complain about taking on an armour heavy Guard army? WTF? You're playing with Tau, this should be the stuff of wet dreams.

Looking forward for more conversions though!

Firestorm Falcon - January 20, 2008 10:26 AM (GMT)
Fantastic, some cobbled together bits of tanks and scrap, the perfect ork fighters.

This'll be great to watch.

Easy E - January 20, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
If the Dethcoptas are Bi-planes, what are your other vehicels going to be? I think your buggies and trucks should be aircraft as well. perhaps the fast light vehicles could be helos and the trucks could be dirigibles?

Digits - January 20, 2008 10:41 PM (GMT)
Love the warbuggy mate! I may have to steal your design though! :ph43r:

Dino - January 21, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
All I have to say I really like this idea and I cannot wait for even more of this stuff. Good luck man.

Lt.Gregor - January 21, 2008 03:10 PM (GMT)
Easy E:
All I'm going to say is that the trucks are going to be including 1 liter bottles. :)

Digits:
Have at the stealing all I did was reach into the bits box and pull out 4 random bits. Then "played". I think I'll make a tutorial on "how" to make a big shoota some time.

Maelstrom - January 22, 2008 04:33 PM (GMT)
absolutely amazing stuff dude, you're tempting me to get a few orks, I just love all the crazy conversions you can make.

keep up the good work i'll be watching your progress

All these boyz I've been painting over the last week, while hanging with friends. The asked I swear 2 times a hour "how's that painting going." I started with ok, to damn leave me alone, to green, to I'm ganna kill someone. I HATE GREEN! for now.

Angel Robertson - January 22, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
Those are looking good from what i can see! Were you still shaking with green rage when you took the pics lol?

Lt.Gregor - January 22, 2008 11:35 PM (GMT)
Sorry I had to breathe, no :( tripod yet. My new Digital camera took all my money <_< .

Easy E - January 25, 2008 11:15 AM (GMT)
I litre Bottles eh... great minds think alike!

I would try to use paper mache (or tissue paper soaked in watered down PVa wrapped around a balloon. When done, pop the ballon and you have a hardened shell for the ... trukk to be suspended from.

It's somethign we did as kids to make Easter baskets in school.

Easy E:
I thought about balloons but, well, I'm lazy/ don't like to do papaer mache. So I've come up with a way to do the Balloon but it's ganna have to wait tell I get more suppluies.

OK so someone going to ask what is this guy on? This is the beginnings of a Counts As trukk for my Ork Waffaagaa Platoonees. The engine is not mounted yet, and in the pictures it does look off angle well your right. I still working on it but the Zeppelin is not even near being done, It's mounted via a pin to the base (I plan on making some closer to the ground ones) Hope this gives all you people out here something to think/laugh about.

Angel Robertson - January 25, 2008 05:43 PM (GMT)
That is absoloutely mint!!!!

It will look awsome when its done!

AR

Keravin - January 25, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
You having a cockpit on that? Looks suitably mad.

Lt.Gregor - January 25, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
Not sure yet. I might have an Ork Ridding the engine like a horse or something. This Zepplin is the Test one :ph43r: there be more coming.

Easy E - January 26, 2008 12:27 PM (GMT)
Holy Combustable Helium Batman! That looks like a great start. The rear facing engine is a brilliant addition.

charlie_c67 - January 26, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
Which tribe (if any) are you doing the dirigible for? Cos whilst I can see snakebites using one I think they're too slow for Evil sunz!

Maelstrom - January 26, 2008 05:37 PM (GMT)
amazing trukk there dude if you can call it that :D , one of the most original ideas i've seen, you'll have a very unique and characterful army at the end of this.

Firestorm Falcon - January 26, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
Oh ho ho awsesome. I love that man.

Oh and making a floor out of stuck on triangles=genius.

Dino - January 27, 2008 04:18 AM (GMT)
Well this is an original idea for a trukk. I really think this army is gonna be awsome when finished. Good luck.
