Now sume might will probably remember that I was gonna do IG for this but after acidently breaking a rule or two, Finding out the retailer in my area didn't have any more IG and wouldn't be getting any for a while, and with Asmodai Dark's good grace I decided to start a different army, Dwarfs. So here is the list I'll be using as a bases for my buying, building, and painting production.

Hero: Runesmith, sheild, Rune of stone, Spelleater Rune, Rune of Warding. Pts. 142

Hero: Runesmith, great weapon, Rune of spell breaking, Master Rune of balance. Pts. 149

Core: 20 Dwarf warriors, great weapons, Full command. Pts. 225

Core: 14 Thunderers, sheilds, Full command. Pts. 245

Core: 10 Rangers, Crossbows, Great weapons, full command. Pts. 165

Special: 15 Ironbreakers, full command. Pts.225

Special: 10 Miners, full command. Pts. 135

Special: 2 Bolt throwers. Pts. 90

Rare: Organ Gun. Pts. 120

Total 1499

Now that the list is up on to the pics. The following is what I'll be doing for this month.
First up is 10 Miners.

Now with my fast painting these guys will be finished along with "Other Stuff" right about the end of January maybe a little sooner.

Merceus - January 6, 2008 09:22 PM (GMT)
aren't they... you know... already painted?

they look nice though :)

Dino - January 6, 2008 09:27 PM (GMT)
Thats becouse I was up late last night and some of todaypainting them. Yes they already had a little paint on them before hand but I had to go back and make some corrections to their beards(OK a lot of correctios to the beards). Besides Arhalien and other s on Warseers TOFP know for a fact I'm a fast painter.

Arhalien - January 6, 2008 10:27 PM (GMT)
Accursed stunties :P

Looking nice so far though Dino: neat and clean :) I really like the miners; the beards work very nicely :)

Jester - January 6, 2008 10:35 PM (GMT)
i'm loving your dwarves mate very well painted :)
im little bit shocked you havent got any slayers in your list i love em!

Dracomancer - January 6, 2008 10:39 PM (GMT)
Good stuff man, I especially like the miners, keep up the good work :).

Dino - January 11, 2008 04:12 AM (GMT)
@Arhalien: So young, so angry at the dwarfs...... damn those pointy ear elves. :D Thx man.

@Jester: I will eventually but not right. But I do have the BFSP and AoW slayers.

@Dracomancer: Thx Dracomancer.

Sorry I haven't been a good sport but my one of my teachers has been putting the pressure on my class with some stupid things.

Any way here's what I've been doing so far.

The miners are coming along very nicely but i'd like to come up with a new way to paint the candles. Any suggestions?

These next two units are coming nicely. I just hope I can finish them in time.

I'll also have a little something special soon.

Asmodai Dark - January 11, 2008 05:10 AM (GMT)
That last dwarf looks smart, please say your gona use it as one of you character choices because it looks cool especially the face

Dino - January 11, 2008 06:11 AM (GMT)
Unfortunatlly no. First of it's to big for a regular runesmith but if Warlord doesn't work out I'll be using it as a Runelord on an Anvil of Doom. Reaper mini's do look awsome don't they? :D

schoolcormorant - January 11, 2008 04:00 PM (GMT)
fantastic dwarfs Dino!

But before I get started with the pics I have to apologize for not being a big team player for Bob. I've been swamped with a big project and have had little painting time.

Any way onto the pics.

Keravin - January 21, 2008 07:25 PM (GMT)
Interesting tartan. Will you be changing it for each unit or is it the clan colours?

Dino - January 21, 2008 10:41 PM (GMT)
@schoolcormorant: Thx. That gives me good motivation for finishing this army.

@Kervain: That would be the clan colors my good man.

ice - January 25, 2008 06:45 AM (GMT)

Deserter - January 29, 2008 01:42 AM (GMT)
Looking great so far mate :) Are they going to be allied with your Empire? I want to see a shot of the two armies together once they're both done!

Dino - January 29, 2008 02:10 AM (GMT)
Deserter my freind that is such an incredably amazing idea that my head is gonna explode if I even begin to comprehend the pure and utter awsomeness of what you've just suggested. In short, you have got yourself a deal. :D

titan136 - January 29, 2008 06:28 PM (GMT)
My god I don't know how you've taken so many colors that would otherwise look tacky together and made them work together. great stuff!

Dino - January 31, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
Ya know I'm not to shure my self how I got it to look this way  ...... Can't think how but I'm glad it youre stamp of aprovel titan 136.

They look lovely mate! Keep up the great work! You're making me want to do some more work on my dwarfs (painted everything I had, but slowly seem to be getting the odd one or two in trades and auctions!). I need lots more normal infantry and Ironbreakers!

Dino - February 3, 2008 10:31 PM (GMT)
Ironbreakers are a must in my opinion. And thx Deserter.

Anyway an.....I think.

"Ah Comrade! Thane Boris at your service..."

Dino - February 10, 2008 03:54 PM (GMT)
Well he would make a nice Thane for a dwarf allied with Kislev army thats for certain. But alas that is not to be for me(I think).

Deserter - February 10, 2008 05:52 PM (GMT)
Ironbreakers look really good, I hadn't thought of that for some reason but I may borrow the idea to top the 9 I have upto 20...

Dino - February 10, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
Go ahead and nock youreself out. A few tips first. First glue on the arms you intend to use then shav a little of the arms up to the bracelets from the shoulders. Second slap enough GS on the arms so you don't have a paper thin amount of gs on the arms. Last get plenty of the dwarf warrior masks or be reall good at gs work that small. And most importantly make shure that they're convincing enought in youre mind that they're wereing Gromril armour.

Angel Robertson - February 10, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
Very cool work on the ironbreakers and a great army comming along!

Makes me want to work on my dwarfs!

AR

Deserter - February 10, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
Cheers for the tips :) Will have a go in a few months, as I have a backlog of Imperials and Mordheim stuff to be cracking on with :)

Dino - February 11, 2008 12:12 AM (GMT)
@Angel Robertson: Thx.

@Deserter: Well get cracking on that stuff and get to the Ironbreakers cause I've got to see them.

Lt.Gregor - February 11, 2008 12:17 AM (GMT)
I really like how the rune smith is turning out.
