Hello!

Welcome to TKs BoB plog.
I going to be doing Tzeetch for fantasy. The majority of the army is going to be mortals, and I'll add deamons when the new models come out (if I like them that is :P). I may also add a few beasts but no herds, probably only minotaurs/trolls...

So far, for the army I have:

1. Converted Tzeetch Lord on disc (using parts from classics range)
2. 12 Chaos Warriors (with minor conversions from new spawn set)
3. 16 Mauraders (also with couple of minor touches)
4. 2 spawn, 1 of which I like, one I dont.

The only thing I've painted is the Lord and he just needs basing.
Everything else is assembled.

Photos coming ASAP.


Next purchases: I'll be buying a couple of chariots and I might use a couple more of the classic sorcerors as the riders.

Well, just painted two warriors.
I've done them mainly in regal blue (with bits of icy blue)and the metalics were boltgun based, highlighted and given a very liberal blue ink wash.
Im quite pleased with them, ill get snapping soon-ish.

Well, finally, here we are, with pictures.
They didn't turn out great, wasnt too sure of the camera settings. however, they give a good indication of what is to come.

This is the champ and a stardard bloke for my first warrior unit. Im pretty pleased with the sceme. The freehand on the sheild will need a bit of tidying up though...


This is my converted Champion. Im really pleased with it, the pictures reall dont show it justice. The spawn is simply a taster of what is to come.

I still havnt decided on a Basing sceme, currently im thinking of Dessert-ish. Ideas?

They look okay, i've given you my two cents in detail already, so I won't repeat myself, the champion guy on disc looks pretty win (nice use of the classic shrieve model), and the spawn should look cool when painted.
Desert bases sounds good, try going with that :).

Yeah, I couldnt resist doing it, looks realyl tzeetchian and rather cool.
Cant paint it up till next month though, I've pledged to finsih my warrior unit. At least the Disc champ covers most of my BoB 200pts...


Alos, came up with what the familiar could represent (because in game terms familiars are crap). I noticed it was carrying some scrolly thing, so it could represent a dispel scroll. Simple!

oh, and expect better pictures when:
A. I've based them
B. Ive finished the warriors.

Oh and I'll start a plog of my CDs in main section soon. Keep them eyes peeled ;)
