Here's a question I've been meaning to ask, how do you attach a document or some other kind of text file to a post?

I'd suggest mediafire:

free file hosting.. you don't even need to sign up, it recognises you from your IP or something.. you can sign up if you want some more features, organisation or access it from somewhere else...

just browse for a file. upload it. when that's done it'll provide a nice download link.

click on 'my files' to view any you've submitted.
