KayvaanShrike - September 19, 2007 10:48 AM (GMT)
You tried to get Sally to paint some? Then she could have her own log on here too, the whole family takes over!!! :o

jasevx - September 19, 2007 10:52 AM (GMT)

jasevx - September 19, 2007 01:23 PM (GMT)

sir.spamalot - September 19, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
Oh thats cool, so you'll have three logs on here:eek: :) Sounds good! what conversions are you planning for those chicks?

cheers

Digits - September 19, 2007 04:36 PM (GMT)
I think Sally should have a section on here for "Modeller's Widows"!

Better yet call it "Aunt Sal's"

Ross - September 19, 2007 11:24 PM (GMT)
"Dear Aunt Sally, today my husban forgot my birthday. He spent all day painting his damn toys. Help me please. Signed Forgotten Wife"

"Dear Forgotten Wife, visit you local hardware store and purchase a 10lb hammer. Take the hammer home and place it on the table in front of your offending husband, then discuss his addiction. Yours sincerly, Aunty Sally."

Aunt Sally, just like Aunty Jack but without the tackle :D

jasevx - September 20, 2007 07:47 AM (GMT)
don't give here ideas you bastard! :P

jasevx - September 21, 2007 08:10 AM (GMT)

The 669th Cadian Shock Regiment

Due to be 'loaned' to the Inquisition in the past they get some kit that lets say, 'What the f**k is that SIR!', 'Cpl don't ask questions and you won't disappear'

My Penal Guys who strangely I can't find a shot of, must get one this Saturday.

WIP Inquisition 'Ordo Malleus'

And Yet to start Chaos Space Marine, which is in bits after stripping, awaiting some TLC.

Oh the monsters:

The lads will be having their own logs from now on. Maybe a little slow but take after their mother for that!

Ross - September 21, 2007 08:14 AM (GMT)
Am I missing pics here or are you hunting around photobucket for an Edit?

jasevx - September 21, 2007 09:43 AM (GMT)
Only 2 pics Ross, I've 90 pages on my photobucket account so finding the right ones are taking time!

Rictus - September 21, 2007 10:07 AM (GMT)
Will you please put your Avatar up. It is freaking me out not seeing the avatar I expect to see under the name. I keep looking for it when it isn't there. Like when you lose your keys, you keep going back to the same place looking for them because you know they should be there....

sir.spamalot - September 21, 2007 02:55 PM (GMT)
OH you have 4 of the little blighter's...I feel an invasion of the project logs a comin'!:P

cheers

thewizardofoz - September 22, 2007 08:37 PM (GMT)

jasevx - September 24, 2007 11:04 AM (GMT)
Well GD over, what do I do?

Tanks staring at me, plasticard staring at me, bucket load of figures screaming to be painted.

Think I'll prioritise, wheres the beer....

scrubout - September 24, 2007 11:09 AM (GMT)
You guys deserve a short R&R, but don't dilly dally for too long.

Erm just a couple of points to make, I will NOT, and i repeat NOT be joining in with playing with tiny little men, tanks, [Clean up afterwards please] shite models armies!
Have to do enough of that playing with jase!
I've suddenly got a spring in my step and a song in my heart 'if i had a hammer, i'd hammer in the morning..................tum tee tum' :D

jasevx - September 24, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
Mental note to myself:

Hide the bloody hammer!

dean - September 24, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
I think Sal is in the house... Say mum, I heard something about your picture but I have never seen it.

Death Korp - September 24, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)

jasevx - September 25, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
Who let my missus loose on here!

Right, next job conversion of a Russ to a destroyer.

user posted image

My FW model on the right, which is my template. As soon as I've got a decent copy, that will be sold, and another two destroyers made, so I have a Sqn of them

mummoose69 - September 25, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
oh goody, a squadron of them, more models, oh joy, oh rapture. <_<
Well i did ask jase if i cud play with his toys, but he refused! mite have something to do with the hammer i was holding at the time!!

jasevx - September 25, 2007 03:23 PM (GMT)
Not more models, converted Russ's already on the shelves, jeese! Like Big Brother!

DUDE, you need to play an Ork army.  I love these guys.  The ork on the motorcycle is my fave but I like the Boomsquigs too. hahaha

Cute

Rictus - September 25, 2007 04:12 PM (GMT)
Squadron of Destroyers? Nice...

Not sure how you intend to do the barrel but I found using road wheels as an easy way to attach a barrel so that it is fixed perpendicular to the hull without sag (jokes are to easy so I won't). The middle size wheel is a perfect fit in the hull weapon area.

Early wip of my Destroyer.

Nah, that and the one below are the biggets pictures I have of the WIP stage.

I've just found an easy way of mars patterning the hull, thought that would have been the hardest part apart from the mantle!

Thoth - September 25, 2007 05:44 PM (GMT)
And?...

You going to let us in on your little secret?

jasevx - September 25, 2007 08:09 PM (GMT)
OK if you must, realised the rear end is just a raised normal engine bay, so I've cut it away and mounted it on Plasticard:

The rear wings were the hardest to figure out, after I'd finally got it right, I've made a template for the next two.

Roof next!

What is it with women and squigs? Seem to remember several gamers/painters hooked their respective partners by showing them squigs. Perhaps that's what you should do Jase?

Ross - September 25, 2007 09:44 PM (GMT)
Odd that, Lisa's first army was orks as they 'looked cute' !?!?

thewizardofoz - September 25, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
nice start on the destroyer. but what was with that russ? is this for the scrapheap challenge?

yours looks rad too rictus.

jasevx - September 26, 2007 05:12 AM (GMT)
Not for Scrapheap Challenge, should have thought of using it for that one tho!

Marovian - September 26, 2007 10:51 AM (GMT)
I love the casual way you just drop in that your going to build a squadron of destroyers and then sell the forgeworld original. So laid back.

jasevx - September 26, 2007 02:22 PM (GMT)
Casual is the way Sal winds up the Australians online sexually, hi Sheep!

Right got an hours work in:

This whole thing remoinds me that we need a "Templates" forum, where people only put their various templates and designs, for future generations of mad-dog crazy people. :)
