Obviously there's no comparison. Any self-respecting otaku knows that the stuff shown on Toonami, FoxBox and ForKids is just edited down to nothing. They take out all the swearing, violence, blood and sex and leave the anime as a shall of its former self. I saw a thing on TV once about how a mom bought a Pokemon video for her kid, but it was the Japanese version. It showed the Pokemon really beating the hell out of each other and getting all bloody. How cool is that!

Sometimes so much gets cut out that you lose half the story. I've read that in Digimon all the characters had big guns, but those got cut out of the Fox version. Honestly... And in Yugiou, you can see where Pegasus' goons had the guns airbrushed out! Really!!!!

I think otaku need to boycott this kidified shit and not even watch it, and don't let your kids watch it either! Get them the real stuff on DVD or through download.

Whoa... pokemon getting all bloody? I saw a side-by-side manga showing the edited and real version. Misty in a swimsuit, one showed the edited version and one showed the real version with cleaveage and everything. I did not know Misty looked like that... whoa... But yeah, it sucks.

Dude, I haven't watched anything on the local channels (at least cartoons) in ages... I only seem to ever watch 4 shows nowadays: Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, FMA, and Inuyasha. Everything else doesn't seem as good anymore.

I basically watch [adult swim] exclusively now, as far as animation is concerned. Other than that I just watch The History Channel and the news shit.
