I liked the first Samurai X OVA Trust and Betrayal real well, but I didn't like the 2nd one much. The second one's called Reflections. I thought they made Kenshin way too OOC. He was so distant and cold and had none of what made him Kenshin in it, like he was a shell of his former self. And to have him and Kaoru die at the end was just too much.
The second OVA doesn't follow the manga anyway, so I can't recommend it.

I will so not be watching that. That's so depressing.
I really enjoyed the first one. So bloody and violent. I think it was great to see what made Kenshin give up that life and do a 180 and become who he was in the anime. Even though he did look a little weird in the OVA...

I hate Tomoe...........grrrrrrrrrrr she's jus like Kikyou, xcept she won't b comin back, yaaaaaaaaaaay! her bro is a &*)%^$# grrrrrrrrrrr i hate Enishi as well, why does the Yukishiro family have to be so evil............

i don't hate tomoe..she eventually gave her life up.is that not the biggest sacrifice possible?and that makes her evil ?? hmmz..if your fiancee was killed,could you stand to be around the killer?and eventually giving your life?i think not.

well i havent seen any of samrui X but i have seen kenshin on tv, and i can't beleive they made them die?!?! wow. well...its different, i guess

The dying part aint in the manga. The anime diverged from the manga after the Kyoto arc. In the manga, Kenny and Kaoru are still alive and kicking.

She not half bad, and Kaoru doesnt die. But it's kindda does happen in the manga
Tomoe said that Kenshin killed Kiyosato and took a happyness and then gave her a new one, and kenshin would be dead if it wasnt for Tomoe
Also Enshin creates the illusion that Kaoru was killed, it showed a dead Kaoru stabed to the wall with the X on her face, but it wasent her, she was kidneped and really pissed, that's all
