Dear Fellow TUP-Vians,

My appeal may be very untimely because of the bad financial condition we are all facing right now, but with deep humility, I would like to ask your kind assistance for the medication of my brother, Romeo S. Suarez.

My brother was diagnosed of Chronic Kidney Disease last August 2008. His doctor recommended that he should undergo kidney transplant. In February 20, 2009, he underwent kidney transplant in National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) through a relative donor. With God’s grace, my brother is now recuperating. However, he still has to undergo medications which cost 96,000 ++ per month for 4 months.

Our family has already done everything to save my brother’s life to the extent that our family’s resources have been exhausted and we are now in deep financial distress. We are worried that if he cannot cope with the prescribed medicines, the transplant will become useless and he has to go back to dialysis sessions which will be his lifetime support.

Our family really prays and wish for my brother’s recovery in order for him to go back to his normal life since he also has four young children to support.

With this, we would like to ask for your great help for my brother’s medication. We do not have anything to reciprocate your goodness except our prayers for you and your family.
