ASSET OPTIMIZATION


SYSTEMS APPLICATION ENGINEER
• BS degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or industrial).
• 3-4 years relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in system design and integration, specifically in condition monitoring or process automation.
• Project proposal generation experience (desirable).
• Project management experience (desirable).
• DCS and instrumentation experience.
• Networking skills and knowledge of LAN and WAN systems and communication protocols.
• Experience with cabinet/field wiring and layout (desirable).
• Strong PC skills and knowledge of operating systems such as Windows 2000, 2003 & XP.
• CAD skill is a plus.

MANDARIN Technical Support Engineer; English Technical Support

• Primarily responsible for providing technical support, consultation and diagnostics for the Mandarin-speaking end user customers and engineering organization within the Asia Pacific region.
• This involves troubleshooting, problem analysis and providing solutions to hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration and application inquiries.
• 2 or more years field service, telephone support, and/or customer service experience performed using non-scripted resolution and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both orally and in writing
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; ability to write and fluently speak in Mandarin
• Ability to function effectively/calmly in stressful situations, both on the phone and in person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, networking, computer hardware and word processing.
• Willing to work different shifts covering North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa time zones as needed.

DIAGNOSTIC ENGINEER

• Diagnostic report generation from test data on field diagnostic and/or outages
• Technical interpretation support for Flow Scanner and Valve Link
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Strong engineering and mechanical interpretation skills
• Proficient computing skills including advance experience with MS like software applications
• This Position requires excellent socio-technical skills including demonstration fluency with verbal and written English language skills. Other language is a plus.

TECHNICAL CSA

• Primary job duty is to complete the specification of incomplete quotations and order entry instructions that ensure proper application of pre-defined engineering, procurement and manufacturing rules associated with the proper form, fit and functional repair and replacement of control valve and instrument products.
• Daily order management transaction processing utilizing the Oracle business system including its interrelated engineering and manufacturing databases and application systems
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate preferred.

TECHNICAL REPORT WRITER

• BS Degree in Engineering with 4 – 6 years of related experience in similar electrical field services activities including 2 years experience in technical report writing.
• Knowledge of electrical field services in the commercial and industrial industry with emphasis in process control is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WEB SPECIALIST


• Working under the direction of the Web Manager, this person will move the current web content to the new Web SharePoint platform, including migration of all documents from eDocs to the SharePoint document management system. In addition, the person will maintain the web sites, site maps; documentation. He/she will use established web team maintenance procedures principles, and standards to improve the sites for impact and improved efficiently.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years creating web pages using HTML
• Microsoft SharePoint knowledge is a plus not necessary
• Knowledge and experience in document management database
• Knowledge and experience with web publishing and tools
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English both verbally written
• Productive work habits including the ability to self-manage

TEST ENGINEER
• BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computer or other related disciplines)
• Eye for detail and natural curiosity
• Analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience in software testing or experience in a manufacturing/process facility is an advantage
• Knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control is an advantage
• Main responsibility is to test the SCADA/DCS system.
SURE SERVICES
SERVICES MARKETING SPECIALIST
• Engineering graduate (ChE, EE, ECE, ME, Computer Science/Engineering)
• At least 3 years experience in process control and automation industry
• Preferably with marketing and sales experience
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Knowledge of language other than English will be an advantage
• Passion for sharing knowledge and helping the people who use our services.
• Willing to work on varying shifts
• Willing to travel (local/overseas) to customer sites and Emerson offices as necessary



EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR
• BS Engineering plus 5 years Process Control knowledge and experience
• Candidate must possess a high level of communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Subject matter expertise in Delta V
• Knowledge and experience in objective skills based instructional design
• Previous experience with Emerson products is desired
• Position requires 25% global travel.
GUARDIAN SERVICES

GUARDIAN PRODUCTION SUPPORT

• Responsible for the generation of System Analysis Reports, preparation of production reports, monitoring of SAR production progress, and ensuring that registration files are processed successfully to support the production of SARs.
• The Guardian Production Support will sustain the efficient generation of SARs and other Guardian-related reports as subscription grows yearly.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting the production environment by attending to SAR-related issues and writing technical descriptions of the results. The role also includes monitoring the website and ensuring its availability as well as identifying improvement areas.
• The position requires good understanding of website operations, applications and computer networking fundamentals. It also requires the ability to communicate and work closely with IT Engineers, Software Developers, Test Engineers and Support Engineers.
• Schedule systems that will receive SARs for the month as well as forecast systems for succeeding months
• Create Systems Analysis Reports (SAR) from generation phases such as Preparation, Creation, Preview/Review, sending email notifications to LBPs/FSOs and Publishing
• Prepare weekly production reports and SAR monitoring tracking sheet
• Performance monitoring tasks on the Guardian website, Guardian Auto-mailer, AP-Guardian Mailbox, and the registration processes
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues for resolution
• Perform validation checks and functional testing after deployment
• Graduate of B.S. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or business administration degrees with the appropriate technical or industry experience
• Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email applications and databases
• Practical experience in data mining is preferred
• Familiar or experienced for at least 1 year SQL Server Skills, ASP, Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic & XML Skills is an advantage
• Experience in coordinating diverse activities simultaneously within stringent time frames
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking, detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills

FINANCE MANAGER

• Responsible for all financial planning and reporting for FRSI-Philippine Branch. The position reports to the Director Technology AP in Manila and to the Division Finance Director in Austin, Texas. Position is required to submit monthly reports, analyze and assist managers with expense analysis and forecasting, maintain financial records for the Branch Office, manage bank accounts, fixed assets, payroll accounting, cash flow management, ensure compliance with all local tax regulations, and generate financial analysis.
• With solid background in Philippine Accounting Practices and tax laws
• Knowledge with Oracle Financial System will prove to be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Hyperion and Hyperion Retrieve for Excel experience preferred.
• Must have extensive experience in the preparation and consolidation of annual budget.
• With experience working in a multinational environment and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Experience in managing purchasing and in-bound shipment receiving will prove to be an advantage.
• Minimum seven years or relative experience in a Lead of Finance Manager Role.

EMA Shift Manger
For Middle East/Africa (MEA) and Southern Asia (SA)

• Successfully works to reduce product issue resolution time and initiates and supports efforts to develop training and troubleshooting resources (e.g. procedures, diagnostics, and documentation).
• Monitors call backlog and closure rates to ensure we are striving to achieve our goals.
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the EMA shift focusing on Middle East, Africa and Sourthern Asia region.
• Has world area responsibilities, plus product line expertise/responsibilities.
• Communicates & coordinates with LBP/FSO, Technology, Marketing and Manufacturing to resolve customer product problems at a local and global level, correct product issues, and gives input on product direction.
• Maintains ownership of all customer problems he/she receives and provides timely updates and sets the escalation priority.
• Responsible for the quality of the service delivered by the GSC.
• Is responsible for performing annual performance reviews and career planning.
• Identifies and develops training programs for the Technical Support Engineers.
• Identifies and develops changes in procedures and processes, as required, as part of the continuous improvement process.
• Determines the resources (i.e. budget inputs, training requirements, manpower needs) required for his/her shift to resolve product problems.
• Identifies software and hardware requirements for the organization.
• Conducts performance management with the Technical Support Engineers.
• Works with other shift managers to optimize the overall performance of the GSC
• Advises and assists the GSC Manager and serves as a back up when required.
• BS/MS in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering Degrees.
• 5 or more years experience in plant or engineering centers in one or more of the following industries: oil and gas, pulp and paper, chemical, refining, pharmaceutical, metals, mining, food processing or power
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills (IELTS score of 7.0 or better)



Power and Water Solution

NETWORK DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER – Security Server

• Responsible in the design, implementation, packaging, and support of the Ovation Security Server product development.
• Provide regular status updates.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to refine technical requirement, identify and resolve technical issues, and document the finished product.
• Assist in the development of training materials.
• Provide level-three technical support and problem resolution for the Ovation Security Server product to address issues originated by Ovation customers, Sure Service, or Projects.
• Provide support to the Validation group to support the testing of security signatures, operating system and third-party software patches.
• 3+ years of substantive technical experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows XP, Windows Server 2000/2003 is required.
• 1+ years of substantive technical experience with UNIX (e.g. Solaris or Linux) is required.
• 2+ years of Information Technology experience working with system and data security is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required. An advanced degree or security certification is a plus.
• Understanding of LAN infrastructure and a current knowledge of network technologies and trends is required.
• Experience with the OpenService’s InfoCenter or ThreatCenter products is an asset.
• Experience with Cisco Security Agent is an asset.
• Experience with Lumension’s PatchLink Update or PatchLink Scan products is an asset.
• Experience with Symantec’s Corporate Edition Anti-Virus, End-Point-Protection, or NetBackup products is an asset.
• Process control experience would also be an asset.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Project would be an asset.
