The 8th Motorshow Cebu International will be showcased on October 16 to 21 at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue North Reclamation Area, a press release from the organizers said.
The event, organized by Motorshow International Manila Inc., will feature the latest models of cars and vehicles and new products, services and related technologies in the automotive and cycle industries.
Other activities include conferences on Energy and Alternative Fuels and on Autopreneurship that will be held in both Manila and Cebu.
A major event highlight is the Annual Motorshow Cebu Best in Show Competition, a yearly contest of the best of vintage and classic cars restored to their original condition, the press release said.
The competition will showcase contemporary European and Japanese-made cars, with low, medium and heavy categories depending on the add-ons or accessories installed on the body and engine of participating cars.
An exhibition contest of meticulously and articulately assembled static miniatures of cars, trucks, jeeps and motorcycles made of plastic, metal or wood will also be among the activities. Others are the 1st Car Clubs Meet, the 1st Bikes Meet and the Treasure Hunt, while a related Motorshow Drag will be held in November, the press release added.*
