the list is actually not that much. Damo sa mga ara didto are just self explanatory. Welding is the process of joining two metals together by melting and re-solidification, contrary to soldering wherein the base metals are not melted but are joined by a third metal called solder. So with the general description considered, the variations introduced into welding "methods" are the following:

1. how to create a localized melting zone.
2. and how to protect the molten metals from the environment during their re-solidification process.

So, kung oxy-acetelene, that means melting is induced by raising the metals to their melting points using a flame from the combustion of acetelene. Kung propane, e di propane. Kung resistance welding, that means melting is achieved by using electric current jumping across the two metal surfaces. The minute gaps causing electrical resistance. These methods above have no protection offered to the metals from the environment during cooling and re-solidification. Sa MIG, there is a covering of an inert gas para may protection. Sa electric arc welding (which is the most common it seems) the welding electrode is covered with flux to protect the weld area. Ang pressure welding naman or friction welding is exactly what is employed in wirebonding of semiconductors - both aluminum to aluminum or gold to aluminum system. You might want to go inside your production line and re-visit your wirebonding. The method of melting is by heat of friction. Friction is generated from the kinetic energy converted from ultrasonic vibration of the transducer. The normal force inducing the friction is by the z-axis motor of the bondhead.
