i got a 302 carb..it has a electronic control module that comes offa my dist i got my coil run through a toggle to its getting fire but when i turn my motor over no fire comes out of tha coil...i was going to see if i can bypass that control module or do i got to have it hooked up?

have you changed the key switch? There is a certain terminal on on the switch that powers the ingition in the start position and then in the on position. That would be the only reason I could think of.

YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT HOOKED UP OR USE A MSD BOX

Only way to get it to run without that control box is to run a points distributor or get a MSD box ,I run the MSD.

I used a MSD RTR distributor. It was $100 off ebay used. You dont have to use the MSD box with it unless you want to.
