Hi! I'm Meg and I am the proud mama of a Pyrenees mix- Scarlett is a 9-week-old Pyrenees-Poodle mix. Before everyone jumps down my throat about having a "designer dog" Scarlett was an accident when a friend's black std. poodle and pyrenees bred! The vet, however thinks she should be an excellent dog. The mix of breeds should work well. Scarlett is doing great with our other pup, a 2 year old Chow-Rottie mix. The only problem we are having is with her crate training. She barks A LOT when we put her in her crate and eliminates in her crate each night, even when we are taking her out at 12 am, 3 am, and 7 am. Obviously some of this will naturally decrease as she gets older but are there any tips for helping her calm down?
