Just curious what other pets you guys may have...

We have 1 cat (Sassy) little crazy thing!

One fat tailed gecko, (SHE..LOL) cute little thing!

One pitbull, (Tula -Danish for sweet) silly little girl!

One Pyr, (Fred) big ol' boy!

And our rescue box turtle (HE) that we had for years just passed away :( .

Just curious. And is there anyone here that is as crazy about another animal or breed of dog as they are their pyr?

I only have Akira and Storm , my son has a goldfish but thats it in this house unless you count the kids :lol: :lol:

I have my Golden Retriever- Drake (He is a hunting dog, so we named him after a bird....lol)

My Pyr won't be home with me until Dec. since he is currently only 3 weeks old! But his name is Judge.

I have a 28 lb cat named Kuda (My son named him..LOL) and yes, we are desperately trying to get weight off of him! (he's lost 4 pounds in the last 6 months!

I have 27 various fish between 1 55 gallon tank and 2 35 gallon tanks :)

My other passion is pitbulls! I love and adore them! My husband is leary of them (bad experience as a child) and so I volunteer my services as needed to the local shelter and work with aggressive and "hopeless" pits, rotties, dobies, mastiffs, etc.

And I have 2 children, but am most likely to consider my husband as one if the animals! LOL! Just kidding:)

Well, we don't have so many anymore. Up until a couple of years ago, I used to have up to 60 pets (hamsters, mice, etc.) in our two-bedroom house as I fostered them and looked for new homes.

Apart from Jesse, Benji, Sunny, Roxie (who was born here), Candy, Linus, Phoenix and the axolotls, they are all rescue animals. :)

And I agree kids and husbands count! My husband and I have 2 and are considering 3 next year :o .

Trish, I love pitbulls too! They are amazing dogs and wonderful family dogs. Our rescue 'Tula' is so sweet, hence the name...it is danish, like in 'sweetie'. She has become a wonderful dog for the kids and has no bad habits; I am so proud of her, as she did not come this way. But, she recovered from all the bad stuff and grew into a beautiful, sweet, good natured, loving, loyal dog and she behaves like a true pitbull, full of play and love and intelligence. She is extra gentle with kiddos.
