Title: Harnesses

Thanks Fiona,

I was reading one of your posts about dog harnesses. I'm thinking of getting him the kumfi stop pull, coz his collar at the moment is making him lose his fur.

Do you think this is best? I've tried him with a halti and he doesnt like it at all.

Did you want a special anti-pull harness? I find the Walkezee harnesses great:

Troy has just a normal trailing harness as he walks very nicely on the lead.

PS. Sorry, Rachel, I have split this post from the other thread to make it better accessible if someone else is also looking for harness information. ;)

Hi Vera

Yeah I did want a stop pull one coz Monty is difficult to control sometimes. I'll have a look at those - thanks.

Rachel :)

Just had a look at them now Vera, they look good. Will it be ok with his fur?

Sorry Vera another question :)

With the walkezee harness would I need the coupling attachment - monty has a retractable lead which I would still like to use.

I cant decide now though between the kumfi and the walkezee. Which do you personally think is best?

If you just use the flexi lead, then yes, you would need the coupling attachment.

I can't really comment on the kumfi harness, as I have never used it. I have used the walkezee with generally good results - though as any canine training gadget, they don't always work on every dog, so it's a matter of finding one that suits you and your dog.
