Lancelot left us totally unexpected and very suddenly on Saturday, 12th August. He was only just over 1 year old.

We'll never forget you, my big boy! You were so special and will always have a special place in our hearts! Till we meet again!

He was the friendliest happiest bunny... why was he taken so soon...

The lab results came back today. It is not conclusive, but they could rule out pneumonia and also viral diseases, so it is definitely not VHD. They could not rule out a bacterial infection, in particular scepticeamia... So perhaps it was that!

Although it does not give me an answer as to what the problem was with my big boy, it does reassure me that my other bunnies are not at risk from whatever caused his death.
