Hi everyone

Just to let you now Im back.

Got made redundant last July cant believe its almost a year ago now. Actually best thing that has happened to me really. I now only work 3 half days a week, hubby has gone out on his own and now works for himself so there is always someone home for the dogs.

Last Sept I adopted Flynn GSD X - didnt mean to do it - but this dog needed someone he could trust - long story took a GSD to breed rescue on a rescue run met and fell in love with Lee (Flynn) and went back the next day to get him. What a difference he has made to our lives. He was very nervous, terrified of everything and still is scared of the hoover, mop, rubber gloves and most especially bin bags. I can only imagine the horror that this poor dog went through :(

He has taken alot of hard work and time and this is generally the reason I dont get on here to chat much anymore but do pop in now and again to see how Troy, Dylan, Akira and Storm are. Have a terrible soft spot for them :)

We think that Flynn may have been put in a bin bag because the panic he has when we change the bin is unbelieveable. He cowers, runs, hides and wets himself still.

Izzy has become his protector and watches him all the time. Hun is his love, he follows her everywhere they are now all inseperable. Trouble but inseperable!!

Izzy will be 5 on August 1st - I dont know where the time has gone. She has grown into the most majestic animal (I am biased), she is calm but dominant, stubborn but only when she cant see the reason behind what I am asking of her, so loving, my heart could break holding her, and a complete bitch when she wants

We are knee deep in hair - white fluffy stuff which only falls out after I have hoovered again and again and again.

Luckily she is not a great barker - too much effort - we have barking about 6,45 am when she goes out in the morning, but only for a few seconds. A little bit if someone she doesnt know comes to the door during the day, but from 9.30pm to about 10.00pm she is on fox watch and will bark constantly. Neighbours are really good about it as they know she is only doing her job and dont hear her during the day. She has her bunnies to protect :D

We have progressed with the car and travelling, we can now go about 10 miles in the car with Izzy before she is slobbering madly, although saying that we broke down (my fault - didnt fill up with diesel) and Izzy, Hun, Flynn and I waited in the car for over an hour for OH to get some diesel and Izzy only pawed the door once. All the dogs seemed to sense there was something wrong. (Hun fell asleep she was so worried!)

OH and I are now working towards moving north so that we have somewhere with a lot of land. Fionna we both love Scotland so watch out. I am hoping and this sounds so greedy but with the Olympics coming this way, (we are only 30 mins away by train) that our house will be worth more in the next few years and have enough to move somewhere quiet - so that the dogs have the freedom that they really deserve. OH has even been doing courses on dry stone walling and rangering so that we will have a skill to take north!! (All I can offer is accounting and dog loving).

Hoping everyone is ok, big loves to all Pyrs and doglets out there.

Shazzy, Izzy, Hun and Flynn xxxxxxx
