Title: I'm looking forward to this week-end...

... becauuuuuuuuuuuuse

My new baby bunnies are coming home! Both are myxi vaccinated now and fully protected. Alaska is also neutered. Cheyenne is booked in to be neutered on Thursday.

Alaska (white lionhead) is in Norwich with GPR. We'll pick him up on Sunday! I can't wait to see him. My dream bunny!

Cheyenne (chinchilla crossbreed) is in Beckenham at GBH Rescue. I have already met her and had a cuddle and chat with her when I chose her. She is absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to get her home. In fact, I am so impatient of getting her home, I might well pick her up this evening!

Piccies as soon as I have any - and as soon as I have replaced the telephone wire at home which my lovely little bunny Angel has eaten yesterday...

I have good news and very bad news.

The good news is that Alaska is here. He travelled very well without problems. He is absolutely adorable and very confident! He is only about 4 months old. (Unfortunately no pics at the moment as Angel chewed my telephone and modem wire of my home computer).

The bad news is that Cheyenne died very unexpectedly at the rescue before she even got to me. I am very sad about this as I really felt a connection with her. She was so adorable. It is not clear why she died but it might be connected to something in her as she had head tilt as a baby, although that was fine after treatment. But maybe there was still something there...

As I still needed a partner for Alaska, I went to see Jackie on Saturday to pick a new girlie. I saw a big white French Lop, that was very thin and sorry looking. I loved her, but didn't think I could fit her in anywhere in the animal room due to her size. However, I have made the decision to bond Angel with Alaska instead of Lancelot, then I can have the Frenchie and bond her with Lancelot! That way she has plenty of room in his big cage and everyone is happy!

Here is the French Lop (possibly cross) girlie... She looks quite bad as she is very skinny and yellow from the entire male's urine that she lived with... I am sure though once she is all better and has put on weight, she will be a stunning looking bunny! As you may have noticed, I do like white bunnies...

Here she is, currently still nameless... (GBH called her Antoinette... that'll have to change I'm afraid... ).

She will need to put a bit more weight on to have the myxi vaccinations, so she won't be coming home with me just yet... :(
