It's annoying, I'm sitting there cutting up so e big horrible smelly heart for him to turn away  It was funny that time I didn't cut it up and he walked into the living room with it lol. anyway... WELCOME :D

Hi again apparently pys sometimes just go off eating for a while BoBo frightened the life out of me he didint eat for four days, being such an ancient breed i wonder if it relates to their life in the mountains in winter food must have been in short supply at times, its just aguess but still worrying

Troy used to skip meals fairly regularly which we just put down to the breed. However, since dealing with his stress issues (DAP diffuser, chiro practic) and since stopping the stress panting, he very rarely skips meals or doesn't eat up.
I feel that it is not the breed as such, but perhaps more the fact that pyreneans are extremely sensitive and will pick up and get stressed easily about all sorts of things! We think Troy also used to get headaches and that that was another reason to refuse a meal every so often!

hi :) i would agree not to blame the breed as bella my female eats like no tommorow! pyreneans each have their own personalities and preferences a bit like us i suppose! if they dont fancy their dinner they wont have it until they do! still doesnt stop us worrying about it though does it?
