Title: CSS Question for Creep

Creep,

Up at the top, in the Banner where it says political death-match. Did you guys have to turn ads off or something to replace the invision-free banner with that one?

No, you have to pay them if you want to turn ads off.

The banner is Admin CP>Skinning and Styles>Images. First one right at the top, "Logo".

ads? there are ads on InvisionFree?

I've never seen a single one...must be because I use FireFox.

Technically, I think I'm supposed to report this as a possible terrorist threat. For all I know that COULD be a secret code to your Islamofacist buddies to blow up a university somewhere. Probably not, but the sane and rational thing to do would be to overreact with knee-jerk hysteria, so...

But, you enjoy chatting with the g-men, right?

See...now that's funny.

well, maybe if there were an announcement stating that using the phrase "da-bomb" will be construed as a threat and dealt with accordingly, he wouldn't have used it in the first place, so no reaction would be necessary.

but hey, it would be better if the police with their dogs had to run around the airport constantly sniffing unattended bags. I'm sure that would terrorize people much less than a PA announcement they tune out anyway.

I noticed link ads on the bottom of open threads that always correspond with the thread title. How does this work-does invision have a stockpile of ads and have some kind of program which display the 4 or so that most closely match the thread title? (I noticed this because in gmen's "thoroughly owned fag" threads there are ads for FAG ball bearings-it amused me).

Google ad-words. They are intuative to the subject matter of the page you are viewing.
