they're animated GIFs. I put the one I wanted up on my ISPs server space they give me, and linked to it. I don't think the board allows you to use the upload option for animated GIFs. I tried it that way and it wouldn't let me.

if you don't have anywhere to put it, I can host it for you if you find one you like. you can link directly to where you found it, but if it's ever deleted by that site then you're out of luck.

There is a download option. I just have no place to host it.

first off, there's no way to download and rehost these. Google and Youtube make sure you can't do that - by using Flash.

the animations in our sigs are not movies, they're animated GIFs. it's basically a format of image that allows for the image to include multiple still "frames" that are displayed in succession. not truly a video.
