No, in the beginning they knew that there had been a shooting on a military installation. Then they learned that he was of arabic descent (palestinian, jordanian).
Fox News had the stones to ask a legitimate question based on the available information at the time. As more info has come out, it appears that they were correct in their inquiries.
Just because you and your buttmunch buddies sheik and ralph, and the MSM haven't got the collective sack to ask the hard questions about news stories is your problem.
Any reporter worth their salt would pursue the possibility that this was idealogically motivated, based on the available information.
BTW, the reason that Fox didn't discuss Rodriguez's name or religion, is that there was ABSOLUTELY ZERO indication that it was religiously motivated. Not in the initial reports of the shooting, not in the subsequent information that came out, and not now.
You idiots are so fucking PC that you can't even get a news story reported correctly for fear of being "insensitive"

Hannity, O'Reilly, Beck . . .it's not about controversy or ratings at FAUX.
Current Headline:
New York bicycle cabbie and Muslim extremist who has called for the murder of Jews pens well-wishes to suspected Fort Hood gunman, saying, 'We love you.'
"Idealogue." Is that how Huntington spelled it as well? Never mind.

Yeah right. They only want ratings and controversy. At least they report on actual events to get their ratings and controversy, unlike the MSM media reporting on fake but accurate memo's and Bush AWOL when he wasn't and.....

Who said anything about an entire religion being behind these attacks?
It's blatantly obvious that the EXTREMIST sect of Islam is behind this, and no matter how badly you want to believe that there isn't an extremist sect of muslims, there is, and they have been responsible for hundreds upon hundreds of terrorist attacks the world over in the past 50 years.
Perhaps the people who claim to be true peace-loving muslims should begin to take out their own trash, so others don't have to do it for them.
Just like how the Catholic Church should do something about all those pederast priests, but are scared shitless to do so, and are often complicit in covering such crimes up.
