so the elections weren't a referendum on obama, personally...does it really matter? everyday we're treated to polls showing cratering support for his policies, and those of pelosi, reid and co...but we like him, and his wife and kids...
are wavering dems now more or less likely to put their careers on the line for the current agenda? probably less...

In NJ I think it was, the exit polling showed a relatively small number of people saying their vote had anything to do with Obama, though of those folks more said it was 'against' Obama than for by something like 24-18%. Not a big deal.
I think Frank Luntz's focus group from VA was eye-opening in terms of insight.
