Kudos to him for dispelling the myth of the lazy black male...

Probably just coincidental that Krispy Kreme was running their "2 free donuts to customers showing up before 6.30" promotion that day.

I have no knowledge of how the banner ads are generated but some are obviously triggered by certain keywords and links in our threads.
We talk about Muslims and a banner ad for a Muslim dating service is curiously at the bottom of the page.

JaMarkus(sp) Russell impressed himself with his 1 fumble, 1 int., 0 TD, 109 yard performance

JaMarcus Russell gives himself a good assessment again in loss to Chargers
12:42 AM
Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell has a positive review of his own performance in Sunday's 24-16 loss at San Diego. Unlike last week, however, this time his coach agreed with him.
"I thought he did some really good things that way today," Oakland head coach Tom Cable said of Russell, whom he benched in last week's loss to the Jets. "Very much seemed to be in control today ... for the most part he gave us a chance to win today and that's what you ask your quarterback to do."
Russell was 14-for-22 with 109 yards passing and an interception. But he had his highest completion percentage of the season, 63.6%, and raised his year-long completion percentage to 48.4%.
"I did a pretty good job," Russell said. "When it all boils down to it, you had a chance at the end to try and win. Didn't do too much damage with the interception. No matter what happened, I think we came out and fought despite the score and just kept pushing and just came out short in the end." -- Sean Leahy

Yesterday he seemed to be the only thing holding them back. I mean, not a disciplined team, not an elite team, etc. But they could have done better than FGs in the 2nd half had it not been for the QB. For the life of me, see no value in continuing to play him...unless you're shooting for the #1 pick (so that you can blow it and pass on an Adrian Peterson type player to take a JaMarcus Russell type player).

Who would come in at relief? Seriously I have no idea who the back up QB for the Raiders is. He/She must be horrible.

His name is "Gradkowski" or something like that. And yes, there's a reason they Raiders aren't seriously considering giving him the starting job.
At this point, the only people who Oakland can get to be their coach or QB are people who have no choice, i.e. they can't get a job with another team or they wind up there by trade or draft. Sorry, Sam Bradford, you're next on Crazy Al's list of "talented young players whose careers I have to destroy."

Gradkowski and Walter both suck, but Russell gives them no chance to win. They cannot count on him to complete a pass.
