Title: BR=HOF
Description: Sorry

Everyone hated on Ben Roethlisberger when he entered the league and won his first Super Bowl.

But guess what? He is most likely going to the HOF. Only 10 QBs have 2 Super Bowl rings. 2 of those are still active players, BR and Brady.

Of the other 7, 6 are in the HOF. The only exemption being Jim Plunkett.

Not that Pitts defense or the refs in the Seattle Super Bowl win would have anythng to do with it.

That being said, BR is a damn good QB.

A bit too early for that. I give him about a 50/50 chance.

Yeah, a total of one blown call in Pittsburgh's favor, and that after Seattle had already sealed their fate.

Why should players be judged on team accomplishments? Whether he won 2 or 0 SBs, his career QB ratings is above 90. Seems like a HOF to me.

His career QB rating is 67.5. To say he sucked would be an understatement.

but much of rating was because he was on the inept patriots for much of the early, mid 70s

QB stats, especially passer ratings, do not compare across eras.

That being said, there is no way in hell Plunkett is HOF worthy. He basically disappeared for half of his career.

Broadway Joe is in Canton. Of course, it was more for what he did for the AFL in Super Bowl III than the rest of his career.
