Title: Favorite Season

Space Monkey - October 23, 2009 04:24 PM (GMT)
Just curious if I'm the only weirdo who likes fall best.

John_Galt - October 23, 2009 04:40 PM (GMT)
I picked Fall, with Spring a very close second (can't beat the wildflowers in March/April.) The thing that pushes Fall over the top is that it is at the end--and not the beginning--of the long hot Texas summer.

JohnDough - October 23, 2009 04:53 PM (GMT)
Fall for several reasons. School starts, football season starts and it begins to get cooler to name a few.

Chin - October 23, 2009 04:55 PM (GMT)
Don't have one.

I think they all bring certain pleasures that I would not want to give up.

Fall is nice here by the mountain, though.

wildhare - October 23, 2009 06:32 PM (GMT)
Without question it's Summer. Love the heat and love being outdoors. Spring comes in as a very close second because I love to garden and my yard explodes with color every year.

Not fond of Winter one single bit. The only thing snow is good for is skiing and pretty pictures.

Ditto. Summer, summer, summer, summer. Only good thing about the other seasons is football and Hockey.

Prowling - October 23, 2009 07:11 PM (GMT)
Summer on the beach, the hotter the better, under a cloudless blue Carolina sky.

As for Fall, September delivers football, a parting gift from August.

I'm with you WH, the only thing I like about Winter is my leather jacket.

Just Plain Bill - October 23, 2009 07:16 PM (GMT)
I voted fall.

Take summer with the humidity and stick it.(no pun intended)

Spring up here usually shows up 3 weeks before summer so that sucks.

Winters winter. Heating bills, snow. My job, when it snows, means double shifts. The OT is OK but thats blood money.

Ummm, The Fonze didn't wear a wife beater. He wears a sleeved, no pocket, white tee.

CHAZBUKOWSKI - October 23, 2009 08:20 PM (GMT)
Fall, definitely, followed by Winter.

What is it with you and white tees?

That was very hidden identifiable of you, btw...

I've always hated that hippie song. Woodstock was like a bowel movement for America.

Gabecpa - October 23, 2009 09:49 PM (GMT)
Spring. No doubt.

I'll take the regenerative portion of the cycle as opposed to the decaying part any day of the week.

Bucky7 - October 23, 2009 10:47 PM (GMT)
Autumn?

Kali Maa - October 23, 2009 11:46 PM (GMT)
Summer... I think.

Prowling - October 24, 2009 02:46 PM (GMT)
Three Mondays ago (I remember it) the sky was a deep blue in the afternoon here. There wasn't even a wisp of a cloud anywhere. The hue was unusual. I think it had something to do with earth's Fall orbit, also maybe the ocean absorbs some sunlight? Ocean water isn't blue if you put a sample of it in a jar. Mainly, there were no white clouds to bounce sunlight off of. They're kind of like light bulbs in the sky.

cynic314 - October 27, 2009 02:03 AM (GMT)
Winter, close behind winter is fall. Way ahead of spring and summer.

Harrison Bergeron - October 27, 2009 02:59 AM (GMT)
Had to vote for fall. Winter is pretty awesome here in Cali, though. All that happens is everything turns green, and it rains sometimes.

Space Monkey - October 27, 2009 01:59 PM (GMT)
I've lived in south Florida, moving north was a refreshing escape from that smelly sauna.
