Title: Random Thought

I think if I had to do it over again, I'd be a landscaper.
There is just something satisfying about taking a piece of ground and transforming it into something people can enjoy.
Not that raw land isn't beautiful. But you know what I'm saying.

Yeah, did a lot of landscaping when I was younger and do all my own now. Will post pics later of what I did last summer. About killed myself but did it all myself.
Still not finished though. Ran out of money. Stuff gets expensive even when doing it yourself.

was thinking about this 2 nights ago as I prepped all of my beds for winter...and probably for the last time (moving)...hate to think that what I cultivated over the past 6 years will be tended (or not) by someone else...

We do a very little bit of landscaping. But as a result, I have contractor accounts with a lot of suppliers. It's definitely a lot cheaper that way. Just plopped about 30 mums in a few of the beds here at the house. Had to make quick work of it before this rain starts.

Almost anything outside beats almost anything inside. Unless it's raining. Being a lifeguard would be hard to top. Great scenery, and rainy days off.

Unfortunately my wife likes the exotics. Pom pom trees and such.
I need to throw up some pics but I'm tired now.

You can have both, Friday. I grow both ornamental and produce. It's the best of both worlds.
