Title: 3rd and 24, down by 14
OakBan - October 11, 2009 05:41 PM (GMT)
and the Giants bust a 55 yard run.
Raiders are pathetic --- going for a bike ride.
update --- while typing this the Giants score another TD
go Raiders!

This is unreal. They don't belong on an NFL field.
NY has touchdown drives of 70+ and 90+ both in less than two minutes.

Extremely happy I started Ahmad Bradshaw in two of my other leagues.

I'm missing something.... at what point in this 31-7 game were the Giants down by 14?
ComandantePepsi - October 11, 2009 07:03 PM (GMT)
Fucking CBS swapped the Giants/Raiders blowout for the Steelers/Lions blowout.

bucky --- i was referring to the raiders being down by 14 at that point ;)
its embarrassing being a fan of this team.....seriously, as much as i bag on the pats, chargers, ect...at least those teams show up to play and want to win.
the raiders just suck. they have sucked and they will continue to suck.
embarrassing.

I thoroughly enjoy watching Raiders games. It's humorous to see how every time you think they've hit bottom, they manage to sink lower.
Pure insanity.

Meanwhile, I am watching Dallas beat themselves again.
If things continue this way, their record will be 2 W's, 0 L's and 3 BS'
Edit: if this Miles Austin TD holds up, will Dallas have won? Will KC have beaten themselves? Or will Dallas be credited with a Beat Selves But Not as Bad as their Opponent? It's confusing.
Frank Pentangelli - October 11, 2009 08:07 PM (GMT)
Waaaait, KC is driving with 1:38 left. Dallas can still beat themselves. There is hope because if they lose it will e because they didn't really.
Frank Pentangelli - October 11, 2009 08:14 PM (GMT)
KC did not just tie it. Dallas did, even though they were leading. Miraculous! LOL
Frank Pentangelli - October 12, 2009 07:44 PM (GMT)
Bummer to see KC lose that game. Unfortunate that Dallas couldn't win it, too.

Did Dallas win the game? Did KC lose it? How do we know?

I don't know. Did Dallas lose the turnover battle 4-0 and lose on a game ending FG?
Fuck stick.

New York linebacker Antonio Pierce shared his views regarding the Raiders during a Tuesday appearance on Sirius NFL Radio with Alex Marvez and Marty Schottenheimer.
"I do not like knocking teams," Pierce said. "But right now, they're struggling. We're playing that game the other day and, honestly, it felt like a scrimmage, like a practice. It felt like we were going against our offense [in a controlled setting] as far as the tempo.
"There was no vibe of trying or effort from the Raiders at all from a defensive standpoint against their offense. We're getting three-and-outs. You don't hear nobody [saying], 'Hey, let's go!' trying to pick the guys up, rallying them, getting guys fired up. There was nothing. It was quiet. A guy gets sacked or somebody gets beat, they just get up. It's not like there's yelling or no kind of [emotion] about the way they were playing.
"It was shocking to be out there in that game and get that kind of feeling." |

So they lost that game. NYG didn't win it.
KC must've also lost the game because they gave up two 60 yd TDs down the stretch. Breakdowns. DAL, unfortunately did not win.

Intentionally obtuse.
At least I know what I'm working with.
