Title: Bank of America

I thought this was odd, anyone knows if it means anything, let me know.
I refinanced last month, the broker who did it sold my loan to BoA, I get my new bill, tells me when everything's due, etc., and I keep trying to login into BoA's website to setup online banking, and I cant get in, so I call and they keep asking me were you refi'd from countrywide and I say no. Finally my payment is going to be late so I read the fine print on my bill, it says I can go to bankofamerica.com/cwcustomers to pay my bill. Wtf? I was not countrywide, and Im assuming with the crap that went on, there are different rules. Does BoA benefit from saying more customers were from CW than actually were?

Dunno, maybe now that they've merged they are trying to consolidate mortgage stuff under their Country Wide brand. So long as your payment gets applied properly it doesnt really matter. You might want to pay by phone and explain to an actual person why it was delayed so that it wont count against you. If you get the right person and explain politely they will waive just about anything.

I paid it this morning, wasnt late yet. Although BoA apparently uses tiers with their online payments, was a $6 fee "during the second third of the grace period", not really worth calling and being on hold. Hasnt been a great exp so far with BoA.

Countrywide was bought out by BoA a few months ago. Any and all accounts with Countrywide were assimilated into BoA's website.

Right....
Point being as I was saying, they treat previous countrywide accounts differently than others or new accounts. I was never with CW yet to login I had to go to bankofamerica.com/cwcustomers. When I called theyd ask if I was a previous CW customer and I said no, they were all at a loss as to why they couldnt find my account.

theyre all the f*ckin same, I got an email the other day from Chase for my CC, it says my terms are changing and instead of including the changes in the email, I have to login to my account and look at this months statement, well I paid it off three months ago and so there arent any statements available since then. Guess I dont really need to know my terms.

Just do what Harry does. Turn all your money into gold and sit in a rocking chair near your front door with a shotgun waiting for the GUBMINT to come and try to take it away from him.
