No, that makes total sense.
That said, the Saudi's letting a jew do anything like this inside (or over) their country is pretty unheard of.

No surprise. The hate for Iran or Persia goes farther back than with the Jews. Honestly, most of the mid-east would look the other way if Israel does anything.
