I grilled some burgers a few days ago and try to only have red meat about once a week. We'll probably get something at the fireworks. |
and that food you grilled a few days ago and that food you'll 'probably get at the fireworks' is different from the video above how?
oh thats right, it isn't.
just another fail from Pats and his 'holier than thou' attitude.
Clarence Boddicker - July 4, 2009 07:23 PM (GMT)
Pats slaughtered the cow that made up the beef on his own. It had been living off the fat of the land in his backyard and sleeping on a waterbed at night.
Pats&Sox - July 9, 2009 03:47 AM (GMT)
Actually it was grass fed like what they advocate in the video. I get it at wholefoods.
You both fail.

Their trail mixes, nuts, and dried fruits are awesome though. And they usually have some good deals on beer and wine.

I work with Whole Dollar. I know their margin requirements and I know they are doing just fine.
You're bitter and consistently rely on fabricating arguments, arguing against the fantasies you create, and punctuating it all with a personal attack.
Demand their products be cheap . . . .add pathetic to bitter.

Lulz. I actually worked FOR them. Got to see how the company works from within. They arent' broke, yet. But like I said, what would you expect? YOU would expect them to go broke and destroy themselves in service to humanity. Here's a clue, jackass, making the kind of products they sell in their stores are HELLA pricey. Not to mention they do ridiculously stupid things, like throw twenty million dollars of their own money away on scams like "wind energy credits". Plus the fact that they pay their employees well above industry average. Plus the benefits. Now, I'm not talking just about how much it costs them to get products from suppliers, I'm also factoring in how much it costs to start up a WF, employ hundreds of people, the money they spend on training and propaganda, etc. That company pours money right down the drain, always willing to buy into any stupid thing that's PC enough. They give LOTS of money away. And waste quite a lot of it even within their own business.
And yeah, the products they sell tend to be expensive as well. Getting the government's permission to use the word "organic" costs hundreds of thousands, even millions of dollars to pull off. And of course all that "social responsibility" stuff that leftists like you are always excoritating "the corporations" for not doing.
What, you think all that stuff is free? You think the money to pay for all that just magically materializes out of nowhere, just by the power of some CEO wishing for it?

 Now THERE is some serious projection. Oak may be the dumbest poster ever, but you are far and away the biggest poseur. You evince exactly zero comprehension of any subject you post on, just cutting and pasting the work of others, which although you read and memorize it, you obviously don't understand. You just accept and believe it uncritically, so long as it's the proper PC dogma. You're so convinced of your own self-righteousness, and that of your ilk, and of the "thinkers" you follow so blindly, that you've completely abandoned critical thinking.
Not unlike the neo-cons, actually. Living in a delusional fantasy world, spewing out any bit of nonsense that appeals to your PC values, refusing to THINK, refusing to KNOW. Yeah, you could be the leftist version of Bill Kristol.
You're the kind of dummy who talks about "margins" like that's all there is to running a massive store like WF. Just ONE WF, never mind the entire corporation. Well guess what, dummy, there's actually WAY more to it than that. The "cost of doing business" is EXPENSIVE, especially here in California, where the looters and parasites in Sacramento have seen fit to make their state actively hostile to anyone trying to run a business.

Hell of a good store. The nice thing about F&E is that they'll let you do a taste test on almost anything you want in the store (within reason, of course), and they eat the price and serve what was opened as sample snacks to the customers who are shopping around.
They let me taste an all natural salsa and some tortilla chips last week, and I ended up buying them. They also had 2 24 pack containers of their own brand of bottled water for 7 bucks.
48 bottles of water for 7 bucks? Count me in.
Their deli section is also really good. They've got homemade meals that are premade, and all you have to do is put them on the stove. I highly recommend going here if you get one by you sometime down the road.
Their prices put TJ's to shame. I got two 6 oz sirloin steaks and two pieces of salmon for under 20 bucks.
They've also got some great canvas material shopping bags for 99 cents each, and I picked up about 6 of them because they're HUGE and I can put more food in those when I go shopping than could fit in a regular paper or plastic bag.
