haven't picked it up yet, haven't had time. anyone else play it?
No, it looks pretty good though. On my "to get" list, but probably not til after Christmas. And after the Simpsons game and the Ratchet and Clank game.

I didnt get too far into the game so i dont know if the pace picks up or if you need any controller skill later on. There are some unusual movements (gently push people to the side as you pass through a crowd, blend into the crowd, etc). Jumping was pretty idiot proof since you always jump the proper distance no matter how poorly you time it.
Attacking people was pretty cool since the movements were pretty realistic. However it tended to be more of a role playing game than one that required a lot of controller skill. It was also kind of slow but I didnt play it that long so you could probably really get into it given enough time.
Heavenly Sword had a lot more action and was more complex with the attacks. Assassin's creed required a lot less skill whereas Heavenly Sword was a lot faster and had a lot more attacks and tactics to use.
I definitely got the impression from the reviews and trailers that AC is more about strategy and exploration than all-out melee. IMO, a welcome change from the same-ol same-ol.
played this at my friend's place and my only complaint that regardless of how high up you are, as long as there is hay below you, you land perfectly unharmed.
