just picked it up. didn't realize it's first person only, but I'll deal. the 1080p is phenomenal.

single player mission is pretty cool so far. online should be fun since nobody knows the maps yet :ph43r:

Campaign is fantastic, multiplayer is very fast so check your 6.

AI is unbelievable. first time I've ever followed them rather than thinking "I wish I could shoot them and go it alone."

They do alot of the killing at first but you get into it soon. Multiplayer is mindboggling.

I've started to notice the trigger points for when the enemies spawn and such, so it's getting a little easier. the chopper part was cool, blasting people with that 104mm cannon.

it gets pretty hairy, I'm looking forward to the rest of the campaign - first time I've ever said that about a shooter!

Never understood your distaste for first person. I don't mind either first or third.

A gorgeous game. I just unlocked he cheat that makes enemies explode into rubber tires when you kill them.

it's not as strategic because you can't use cover as effectively as third person. no peeking or leaning around corners, etc. it's more realistic being able to see around corners a little because in real life you'd have that greater awareness without exposing yourself to fire.

the other aspects of this game are so fantastic that I'll learn to deal with the fps.

I only played online a little (out of town so can't play again until Monday). is the only way to get into a public game to let it pick one for you randomly or is there a list I didn't see. don't any of these developers play Socom? they got the lobby and clan system nailed, so everyone else should learn from the best and simply copy it.

I believe the only way you get into a certain game is to host a game or have your friends in a party and they will all follow into the same game. If you don't host they stick you in randomly. Rainbow Six does that much better and cover would be nice but you have to keep moving in this game. It is insanely fast and if you kill someone you better move out of that spot. Excellent game aside from the minor issues.

the more I play this game online, the more I like it. just plain excellent all around. I don't like having to unlock the different gameplay modes, but it doesn't take too long.
