you seem to forget that PS3 isn't Sony's only offering.

PS2 is still the #1 game console. PSP is up there at the top, too. Sony has no worries. they're betting on the long haul with the PS3.

Which is exactly why they dropped the price of the PS3 yet again. Your claims that the 360 sales were down and that you didn't see 1 game pushing consoles have really proven your forecasting abilities on this subject. Sony does not want the PS2 to outsell the PS3. PS2 shouldn't even be included in the debate because you discount the Wii.
