played the demo a little last night. pretty cool how you can interact with the environment, jumping on carts and blasting people as you roll by...doing backflips off walls and things like that. it's going to take some practice getting used to the level of detail in the controls, though.

I liked the demo but decided not to buy it because it is just wave after wave of a ridiculous numbers of enemies to the point of redundacy. A rent, not a buy in my book. A friend of mine bought it and never plays it. I was really liking it at first but it grew tiresome and that was just the demo.

yeah, I started to get that impression after playing it for a bit today. the video at the end of the demo showed some cool stuff from helicopters and things, but still just kill-as-many-as-you-can kind of game.
seems like they focused way too much on the destructible environment. they did a great job at it, but sometimes that stuff actually gets in the way - and of course they could've paid more attention to the game than the gameplay.
