GKS Tychy leads Dworów Unia Oświęcim 2 Games to 0

GKS Tychy won 3-2 in a shootout in game one and won 5-2 in game 2. Game three will be on Tuesday.

not a sport i generally follow as its not on much here but i do like it,how come polska never really do well at this?

Poland has started to play a good defensive system, so there is hope for the future. But the problem is there are so many countries that are good at hockey. Aside from Canada and the USA, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Czech, and Slovakia are all top tier teams that Poland won't dream of being as good as anytime soon.

There are lower tier teams like Germany, Belarus, Ukraine, Switzerland, and Kazakhstan that are also still a bit better than Poland. These teams are still respectable and can put up a fight, but Poland is not at this level yet.

Right now the only teams Poland is at par with are teams like Italy, Holland, or other teams in Europe that don't focus much attention on hockey. This is embarrassing, simply because these teams are as good as hockey as say Canada is in soccer. Poland will progress though, they are showing improvements.

well as you say they are improving so who knows,maybe one day we will see them taking on and beating the big boys.i like the polish hockey jersey,smart.

GKS Tychy won 2:0 again and lead the series 3:0. If you're not familiar, hockey playoffs are best of seven, so Tychy need one more win for the title! Me being from Tychy am glad to see this. The 4th and perhaps final match will be on Friday!
