Title: Liverpool Wins; Dudek Chokes

Dudek ruins an almost perfect day for Liverpool. This guy has taken a nosedive since the world cup. He's yet to regain his old form, which seems to be far behind him. He probably won't cost Liverpool a win in Leverkusen, but it definitely won't help his team in terms of confidence, that's for sure.

Yeah, what everyone seem to forget is that he made two great saves minutes before, one was amazing and could be save of the week from all leagues, finger tip, by the right post, it didn`t seem like a save it was so fast a shot, but replay showed it would have gone in just off the post had it not been his finger tips.

The big saves don't matter if you can't handle the easy ones. Besides, if he is a world class goalkeeper (like the one many Polish fans think he is or used to be) he should be able to stop both. Just because he made a good save before doesn't mean that's an allowance to give up a poor one. The reaosn he is goal-keeping for a top squad in the EPL is because he is expected to make big saves and easy saves.
If he had given up a goal on a more difficult shot, there would be less criticism and focus on it. But if all he did were make average and easy stops, that's all he would be - an average or mediocore goalkeeper. If Dudek wants to be regarded as one of the best, he has to play like one of the best - stopping the unstoppable, not just the easy ones.

Fair enough, but it seems to be the easy ones that are the problem, the great shots he saves.
