The Polish League clearly isn't as respected as some others in Europe, what would you attribute it to?
We obviously have a lack of talent and mostly Polish talent that few countries recognize. I'm torn between the idea of whether or not it is better for us to try and obtain high-level talents or whether we should sell our high-level talents to receive some recognition.
On the one hand - to acquire talent we would need more money. Let's just say we have that for now, and we sign some big name players. This would likely create some interest in our league, but would it give it any credibility?
I'm leaning more towards the idea that if we sell a player like Zurawski - who performs well in another European league - that may give the Polish League more recognition. If they see Zurawski's stats are not inflated because of playing in the Polish League then I think we'd be given more credibility. Right now it seems no one takes Zurawski seriously because his accomplishments are all in the Polsih Leauge. If he can put similar numbers in other leagues I think this would help prove otherwise. But the downside is we lose a valuable, marketable player for the league and that too may decrease popularity. So I'm torn which option would be best for our league.
