Any anime or manga events / showings scheduled? I know it has nothing to do with games, but a lot of people that game are nuts about this stuff. I'm pretty much into gaming myself, but my GF likes this stuff. Just wondering.

There is not an Anime room planned, mainly do to lack of use in past local Conventions. Even at big gaming Con's Anime rooms lack a large number of followers. I don't know if its the fact that your ata Game Con with 100's of things to do besides watching TV or what? When the Convention move to a hotel with more space, it could be revisited, currently however the hotel is pack with gaming events.

As far as games using Anime as a base, I reckon perhaps BESM will be run.

Yes, it is actually Animated Music Videos. I think Uruk-Hai creates those as a hobby. Actually, we were going to make CDs of random cool geek shorts and just let them roll over and over. But as far as an AMV contest goes, we could do one so long as we promote now.

Yes I was refering to Anime Music Videos. it was just a randome idea to give none players something to do, should they not be interested in gaming but still wanted to attend for one reason or another.

Sounds like fun, actually. I think I will start working on that kind of a project since I know you will/do have your hands full with various things regarding Con. :)

I wonder, should it be a contest with some sort of prize midday? It could be a cool Saturday event during the afternoon.

We can promote it in the handbook and online, as well as sending it out in the next email (potentially, will have to see what Ivan says in that regard). It's definitley a good idea for those who don't game as much but are going for other reasons to the con.
