I think last year the Martial Arts was not really advertised as much as people would have liked.

I got a lot of people who were upset that they didn't know about it until the last day. So I'm posting it here.

Martial Arts will be in the Arena this year (part of the Dealer's Room). We'll have basic self-defense techniques and exhibitions given by Robert Branum and Jesse Foster.

Anyone is welcome to join in and learn to defend themselves. Last year's lessons went over really well, and we'll be continuing them this year.

Out in the open arena should allow it to draw much more attention.

The secluded room last year had it's benefits, but this is an event that needs a little more exposure.

Of course, out in the open it's prone to much more distraction for the instructors and the participants. But this is a convention after all!
