So, I'm a volunteer and I'd love to just hang out with other volunteers. If any one has any ideas, like a game night, feel free to post.

The Con Games Block Parties tend to be a good time, too.

Next Block Party is on Tuesday the 23rd of May.

Tell me more about these block parties!

First, we get a bunch of blocks. Then, we all get together and have a kick-ass party around them.

No, seriously.


I mean it.


Several events at ConGames will involve physical blocks, like the Children's Area and giant Jenga. The parties are a great way to get together and meet other Con staff while we simultaneously paint and/or stain the blocks to help prep them for the events. Not only do you get to hang out with cool people and express your creativity, but where else are you actively encouraged to rock out with your block out?

I didn't know where the place was...but baking is one of those things I do so I guess I shall.

As an FYI "Tiffany" is our volunteer coordinator, IM her if you need information on locations and directions, or just in general if you want to help out. :)

Definitely feel free to ask for directions to anything we do. Send me an EMail or you can contact me through myspace.

Here on this forum is a pretty good way of going about it as well.
