Well.. for my Gal and I, this was our 1st SW Con and we both enjoyed it. It was alot better than most of the Con's up in the NW (which is where we use to live now we live in Las Vegas).
Most cons have it where there are ALOT of games.. but you look and they are just about the same type of games. :(
Not this con :D . This con had a mutitude of games to choose from so there was many of choices of games. I had fun running my Civ game and plan on doing it next year. Also the RPGA D&D games was great, and the best I enjoyed was the D&D Mini's. Learned alot about it and I think those that played learned some thing or two. I think I will be getting out of WK MW and get into D&D mini (I know Warmachine and FoW look really tempting.. but budget has me tied down). I even got to meet a few college friends from the 80's there, and also a thanks to DGP for signing The Gamers DVD for her :) Nice to see some NW faces down here. :D
So we plan on making ConPhoenix a yearly Con to go to. I would like to squeeze in Hexacon, but not this year. We are eyeing SO Cal Gen Con in Nov, then go from there. If Gen Con So Cal dosent give me a gamer satisfaction, then next year we might add Hexacon to our list and drop Gen Con So Cal. Of course WE still plan on going to Norwescon up in the NW every year (which is on easter weekend).
