Title: Problem With My Custom Car
Description: Wheels are above the car!

Prestonfs - July 9, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Aeon - July 9, 2008 09:35 PM (GMT)
If you don't explain your problem, we will have no clue what you're talking about.

My cars body is under the ground.

revoltkid - July 9, 2008 09:43 PM (GMT)
change the body's offset in the parameters
that should fix it
oh
and did u rvcenter it?

Prestonfs - July 9, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
How do you do that? And BTW This is what it looks like:

Set the body offset as 0, -20, 0.

And then tweak down from that.

If you wish to make a hulscaled hul, you have to set it at 0, 0, 0 and you have to tweak the wheel values to get the correct height.
Don't worry about that right now, worry about the highlighted words.

For that particular problem, I'd say its better to increase the Offset1 Y value for all of the tires by about 30.

I prefer to avoid modifying the car's Offset if at all possible because it messes with the collision detection.

Well, all my cars from now on will have hulscaled huls and 0,0,0 body offset.

As for fixing my old cars, that ain't happenin'.
