I'm planning on buying the; savage orc boy x 2 and savage orc boar boy command. I was wondering if these kits come with the ability to attach spears and shields to them all or will i be having to find shields from my bits for them?

I bought a heap recently. The command model comes with 1 shield and a club. The non command models came with 2 shields each and spears.

Also, rumor has it that this summer they are going to come out with new boar boyz kits. You will be able to make them savage or regular boar boyz, the rumor is. So, don't drop a lot of cash on them yet!

They come without shields.

And yeah the rumour is true for orcs, but I doubt they'll be customizable into savage orcs considering that they'll likely be the usual 5 model sets which offers little extra space on the sprue for this.

so is this a confirmation that they do or dont come with shields? :P

Mine came with these. They look a lot like shields to me. Mind you they are much smaller than the shields that come with Orcs. More like the same size as the Night Goblin ones. As I said earlier my Savage Orc Boar Boyz command kits came with one of these in each and the normal Savage Bora Boyz came with 2 in each.

Those are the old 5th Ed (or even older) shields that everyone got. They were really generic and on their own sprue.

I kind of like them for some things b/c you can paint what you want on them.

They really don't belong on savage orcs though.

In fact, I don't think savage orcs should have shields at all.

If you're willing to go to the trouble to find them, the shields from the Chaos Beastmen boxed set look perfect on savage orcs.

i just cut some tongue depressors/ craft sticks for orc shields.
