Thanks for the tune up on the list. Some of your ideas, thougths and strategies came in handy. So here is a quick Bat rep of what I brought and what we played.

Basically a leadership bomb army. It didn't cost me the game however. IMO I out played him and surprised him a couple of times. First was Gorkll Fix It cast on the flamers setting up a charge for my giant. This battle went on for 5 or 6 round of combat. I rolled incredibly poorly for swing with club. Another factor was when I flank charged his Hounds with my chariot with Tricksy Trinket Shaman leaving 1 hound left. I won combat by 5 but he rolled a three. That set up a charge for Papa into the chariot.
The LD bomb can into affect last turn when it caused 2-3 units to panic with no chance of rally.

This game was probably the most fun scenario of tourney. It totally blew my mind and took away a huge advantage from my army. We deployed 2 core units and then the other units joined the army from deployment edge during our first turn.
I thought my units where toast because Ty got first turn. With his slann on the table and me with 2 NG units and 1 shaman I thought I just spotted him two units. Luckily he miscast first spell and things went well.
My stuff came on the able and not much happened.
Turn 2 he moves stuff but most of my stuff decides to bicker or go stupid into the back of the unit in front of it.
Turn 3 I charge all three chariots into the Suarus Warriors and only cause 4 wounds :o ::) :'( . Ty Takes controll of my left flank using area effect spells from the engine and the slann.
T4 With my left flank crumbling and my chained fools getting zapped i thought the game was toast. My Generals unit panics and things look bad but then my Giant comes to rescue. He worked his way down the right flank, squashes the Scar Vet and then overruns into the slanns unit that I charged with a rallied chariot. The Giant jumps up and down and between the Giant and the chariot the Suarus die! slann flees and the chariot runs them down.
T5 not much happens and the game ends in a tie with Ty getting a bonus point. No extra points for capturing banners, generals, and table quarters cost me this game. i was down about 100 points but had 2 table quarters, the general, and 3 banners. Oh well we were all playing but the same rules.

We talked alot and I won the game.
A highlight was when I charge the corsairs with three chariots whipped them and over ran into the Caldron. I better go add that to the list.
At the end of the day I won Best Army and Player's Choice. I came in second overall and had a lot of fun. So I guess I won! I have to say that it was really nice to play in a tourney that soft scores mattered. It was nice to know that I was only a few dice rolls away from winning!

Most people post battle reports in the WHAT WEZ WROTE section of the forums. It wouldn’t be bad to tie in the other forums where people gave advice, either. It would be nice to see your questions and people’s advice and then the results.
