Looks like a cool cover, if the rules are decent I will maybe play with skaven for a while. Altough I suspect that the call of the greenskins is to strong on me.

I just played against some Skaven yesterday. That's an army I don't see often. The new minis look great! I am always looking for new hand weapons to convert for my goblins. Maybe I will buy some of the bitz off the bitz people to use. I bet they will look nice!

The new clanrats look a lot better than the current monkey ones although i have noticed that the new clanrat leader looks like one of the "rat" gladiators from Family Guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcTRr6V-fSo

I think the new Skaven are really cool. They look like how they are decribed in most Black Library books. These ones look more badd-ass then the old mokey ones.

(FYI fanbois, I just started a big conversion project using current Clanrats and Cadians to make 40K SkavenGuard. If they're starting to pull Skaven off the shelves, then my project just got cancelled early :( I'll concede to the pretty, but I get the feeling that these will be more like the current "onepose" plastics GW are currently throwing out. Not happy :angry: )

Hey Borzag! This probably means your old school Skaven just went on sale! People are probably happy to unload the old ones now that the new ones are available. You can always get stuff like that cheaper on ebay and such for the next year.
