Skartooth The Third - August 12, 2009 07:55 PM (GMT)
Hi Guys
My mate did this over at the Skaven forum under empire. What music reminds you of your Orc and Goblin horde. I am going to start this of with somthing I found over at the warhammer online site. Under sound of war click here to see
MusicThere should be 2 songs boold rites and warpath. Please post your own ideas of Orcy music and your views on other pathers choices.
Happy listening Skar (2c)

Fixed that link for ya!
This is a great idea for a thread - I expect there will be a lot of very different stuff suggested!
I suggest the Plant of the Apes (Tim Burton version) sound track, and a few choice parts of the LotR movie's sound tracks.
^_^

Hm, if I was a good musician I would think of an adaption of a famous Queen-song and make it: We will we will crush you! crush you! And this of course with a little more throatlike sound than Freddie Mercury's voice, hehe.
For the rest, to much too mention... Will think further of the most suitable one's...
Fun-thing though.
Cheers,
Kees

I always thought Andrew W. K.'s 'Ready to Die' had the comic violence thing down pat.

I think instrumental music with simple instruments (e.g. drums, horns) fit well.
Like Anvil of crom from the Conan Soundtrack.

I vaguely remember a GW game in the 80's or 90's that was called something like "oi, that's my leg!" It was about trolls or some-such. I vaguely remember it having a cd in it with a song or two.
WarbossKurgan - August 15, 2009 07:48 AM (GMT)
Groznit I remember
Oi! Dat's My Leg! as well (though I think it was an audio tape!) It was illustrated by "Bill" they talented guy who wrote and drew the "Gobbledegook" Goblin cartoon for WHite Dwarf at the time.
I've looked for the songs on YouTube with no success. :(
Oi! Dat's My Leg!Trolls in The Pantry

On myspace there is a band called "A Band of Orcs", I have not listened to them.
Einherjer and Amon Amarth work for me. What can I say I like my Viking Metal.
Man O' War would proably work for me too.
BarmyBob - September 4, 2009 02:05 PM (GMT)
I like listening to Madness One Step Beyond album, or the Business (any album) when fielding my Orcs
Kees (aka Ghenkadh) - September 4, 2009 08:15 PM (GMT)
@ BarmyBob: you take the Nightboat to Cairo against the Tomb Kings???
Hm, played the LP the other night in fact.
Radiohead, Chopin, Foofighters, Queens of the Stone ages, Pearl Jam, a lot will do. But som 'classic' music is of course from Wagner: the ride of the Valkyres and for me (and I guess for some other countrymen) the Flying Dutchmen...
cheers,
Kees

I never thought of it but the Business song "Hard Core Hooligan" would fit the bill exactly.
Man O War works too.

You know if you Look up the Black Mages, you can find Nobuo Uematsu, The GENIUS!!! behind all of the Final Fantasy music, I think he has something for the Orcs :D

So last night our group threw in the Warhammer Online soundtrack and the during the epic title music (The Call of Stone) my lowly unit of 4 remaining night goblins threw double 1's to avoid breaking against overwhelming zombie hordes. The power of music!
