Order a few models from gw direct and got a direct catalogue which at the back of it had this:

I want that wyvern! It looks even better when you can see its tail as well, I'll just have to replace azhag's head and I will be a very happy orc indeed! A bit to small wings though but whatever! It's gorgeous!

In September the wait will be over. I'll buy one in five years when they can be gotten cheaply or in October when I trade in all my Necromunda and Blood Bowl teams. :)

Cutting away the over abundant base really improved it.

I agree there. I liked the old base, but this one would look more at home on a battlefield where the large one looked to me like it was in a forest.

Not that i want to throw too much fuel on an already burning fire, but i heard last week from a GW employee that this kit is all metal, hence the price. Anyone else heard this as well? Also, i'm interested to see that the base is a square base, where the new basing guide that came out recently says wyverns are meant to go on the long bases IIRC.

£50... damn I expected as much. I'm also hearing horrible rumours about it only been available to order direct.

65€ is indeed rather expensive but I will buy it anyway, it is such an awesome model.

I love this model. But I would use it o represent a warboss on wyvern just because it looks so mean. I would have to do something else with the head and base like making a giant plinth of rocks similiar to the high elf dragon one.

I checked out the assembly instructions on there.

It looks like there should'nt be too much trouble fitting another rider on. Although Azhag looks like he sits flat on the shoulders not astride them. I'm thinking either use his legs and magnetize the torso so it can be swapped for others. This would look good for a BOWB or an OWB. The armour on the legs doesn't fit with a SOWB but I guess I could live with that. The other option is modifying a couple of sets of legs to sit similar to the way Azhag does. The options are there though.

I ordered my azhag :), i will have him next week. If people want I can post pic's from the model then. A 3rd wyvern for the ranks of my orcs and goblins :D. He is indeed expensive but it looks better then the other wyverns and of course if you have 20 000pts of greenskins you just have to buy such a nice model to add to the collection right...? I might have an addiction for greenskins.

I got my azhag today, but he got 2 times the same wing so my shopkeeper called mail order and they will send a new one, so I will probably have 2 azhags :ph43r:, and the shopkeeper will then convert the wyvern to some chaotic beast
