Description: Available for download!
Arfa - April 11, 2006 02:44 PM (GMT)
Hey all!
As a few people have been sent the list (mostly just the people who worked on it, but also others who happened to be in the right place at the right time :P), I create this thread to remind people who did what and for people to post their comments.
Anyway, here we go:
Those wot made it:
Written by: WarbossKurgan, Arfa, Red Skullz, Snotstaff, Krusty, Chris & Zorg_Orc_Warboss.
Fluff by: Chris, Krusty & Arfa.
Illustrated by: Sickmachine (almost all the pics are Sickmachines, and what a legendary artist he is!), Sumicus, Jesmo, & Omenapoika.
Conversions by: WarbossKurgan, Red Skullz, Emoe, Kebabi, Sloory, Snagafang, Snotstaff, Gashbad-Beergut, Saimon, Krusty, Green Peace & OrcFromThePlains.
Book Design & Layout: Arfa.
Anyway, on behalf of the entire team, we really hope you enjoy the book and that it inspires you to make a pirate army of your own! :D Feel free to speak your feelings on the list here, we really want to hear them! :)

I have seen the book and am a believer. I must commend the entire Pirate Team for their dedication and work on such a quality product. Just looking over the pages, it makes me want to really dig into the list and the book (I am at work, so I have a couple things to do this morning - must resist temptation :o). the pics and drawings are TOP NOTCH!
Well done all! You all deserve a big bunch of teef and some brew!

Wow, with the amount of grog being handed out today Lard Tub will be raking it in!
And today should be declared an Orc Holiday!

Well Ive noticed a few more errors in the list (only minor ones), so as soon as Goofy comes on I can inform him and we can get that fixed before uploading it hopefully.
edit - if anyone else finds anything they think needs fixing, PM either me or Goofy and we'll fix it up.

(still waiting...)
Krusty - April 11, 2006 11:27 PM (GMT)
Arrrggghhhh!
Somebody send me the list!
 :(
Arfa - April 12, 2006 02:57 AM (GMT)
Right, Im refraining from sending the list to anyone else until we get the bugs worked out of it tonight. I thought I'd got 'em all last time (sunday & monday night), but I guess because it was 6am sunday and 4am monday a couple of things slipped, which is unfortunate. Dont worry guys, you'll all get it!

THose of you who haven't seen the book, I can honestly tell you that it's worth the wait :)
Shame that transfering it across to pdf has caused some minor layout issues... We'll have the best looking copy of it out there for download asap ;)

Well I never thought we would of done such an awesome thing together when I started it... :P
Btw my Savage orc wasn't supposed to be a slave... :P
Arfa - April 13, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)
We decided with all the fluff that Savage Orcs would end up as Slaves, and it fits them better I think. This is the reason you cant include any Savage Orc heroes, and that you are limmited to the number of Savage Orcs you take in your list. If you want a fully savage orc Pirate army, then collect a normal Savage Orc list and convert it up, just use the rules from the normal O&G book.

Just remember Snottie that it`s the pirates that`s important here, the sorc`s have their place of glory already in the main O&G book.
But to get this topic back on-topic I would just like to say that it`s brilliant. Looks all professional and when you read it and watch the drawings and the P&H section you all can see that the contents of it are professional.
Kudos again my fellow Krew members :D
Gaargod - April 15, 2006 07:31 PM (GMT)
Wow funny. Fell about laughing first time i read it. Really good - like the illustrations and the conversions are jaw dropping.
However, i'm sure you might like some constructive criticism(or not but hey, you're gonna get some anyways ^_^ )
On first rather thorough read through:
There are a few typos here and there (but for such a massive unofficial thing there's amazing few), which i'll try to get them all (i've forgotten most of them). Give me a while.....
Also a couple of strange things - like that Orc Bombaz can have Hand Bombz or additional handweapons - otherwise they're just deck handz basically.
Gtg now, but i'll be back with more 'constructive' criticism later.
Well done, once again.
Cunninglybrutal - April 15, 2006 10:10 PM (GMT)
Well, yes, I too remember seeing a typo like "him self" instead of "himself" or something like that, but the book is AMAZING. I did not expect this level of proffesionalism. The paint and hobby section is superb, so are the item section! It has that comedy feel that makes the whole O&G amazing.
Thanks a lot for all your hard work! I am looking forward for the next project!
The Facebeater - April 15, 2006 10:19 PM (GMT)
It's truly amazing. Fair enough, the odd typo here and there. We all make mistooks. I blame the teechers.
Arfa - April 16, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
Yes, Facebeater sent me a PM with a few typos, If anyone else has any then contact me and we'll get em fixed up and load up the 'revised' revision. After all, the 'editing' team consisted of me and Goofy slaving around in the early hours of the morning to get it published lol ^_^.

LOL, sorry, I just redread this post. Can I quote this for any future 'quote of the month' contests :P
I assume that the typos are intended, which is what makes it pretty funny .
Anyway, back on topic, I FWD your PM to Goofy, Facebeater, and we're getting that fixed up, so thankyou very much for that. If anyone else notices anything wrong then please PM me or goofy so we can get this top notch, theres no point in promoting something that isnt as good as it could be after all!

Gutsnakka - May 3, 2006 02:54 PM (GMT)
Well that's me just read through it and you guys clearly put alot of work into it and it has shown off. The Hogwasha at the front looks cool and then the tails were exelent, very amusing. The list it's self was well done, rules and all that were cool and the way it was all set out was just great!
Seriosly guys this was just awesome ten out of ten!
