Kebabi's beach boy gets it from me.

It captures a plain orc pirate and acuratly conveys what the book is about clearly and well. All the entries are good but I think this is the best for a cover.

Gashbad Beergut's painting is the best, but the models (or the pictures of 'em listed here) wouldn't fit so well on a cover. My vote goes to the ship. Nothing more piraty that that.

My vote goes to the ship of kurgan, that is just the best thing for on the cover, altough all the rest looks really nice and are nice conversion, you have done a great job guys.

My vote goes to Kebabi.

I know I have not been much assistance on the Pirate Project, but I would like to add my (2c). I think Da Hogwasha would be great on the cover, unfortunately, that picture is a bit dark for the cover. Perhaps you could change the picture a bit....? :huh: I like Kebabi's Beach Bum too.

Unless you change Da Hogwasha pic a little, I am going to have to go with the Beach Bum.

Too bad Krusys Shaman and Da Hogwasha are a bit dark, as they're really cool. (and it doesn't do them the justice they deserve)

Well i voted for kurgans swivel gunner because it's a good shot of a pirate
orc shooting over the side of the ship :) .

I actually expected 0 votes for my troll because it doesn't show the theme
of the book at all! (i didn't get to paint any pirates ;) )

I do like OFTP's idea about the compilation though, cause i like kebabi's
orc very much! i just don't like the real photo behind it.

They are "true GW Orcs"! Just old models mostly! :D

I'd do with Krugan's boat. It makes more sense to me that we have the cover be a pi cture of a boat and its against an ocean backgroudn so I think that works out better

I really can't decide.. Sloory has the most impressve model I think, but its not a straight pirate, my favorite pirate is Kebabi's but its just one pirate... arg, I can't decide! :wacko:

i voted for number 3, it was the best modelwise and had a nice paint scheme, all the other were good but that one seemed to stand out and i thought it filled what you are looking for. (2c)
